Reinhard Scheuble, book printer, book artist, book publisher, has now been around for almost three quarters of a century, endeavoring to make the world a better and more beautiful place. He is originally from southwest Germany, his determination most likely as well. He needs space, the republic is just barely big enough for him: one would have to search in Germany for a greater distance between his city of birth Singen am Hohentwiel and his current residence Witzwort in Nordfriesland. This change was certainly not carried out at once; in between lie a number of stages.
Following his formal training as a book printer, which he completed in Freiburg im Breisgau, he made his way to Berlin, married and multiplied abundantly, attempted to advance the class struggle and discovered, that in addition to all this a fascination for book graphics continued to grow. From 1980 to 1989, he was workshop supervisor in the Druckwerkstatt des Berufsverbandes Bildender Künstler Berlins in the Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin-Kreuzberg. Subsequently, he served as master printer at the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main. He left in 1995 and is now completely independent.
